6 Months

The last 6 months have flown by.  Grayson has grown and changed so much.  It is always amazing how much babies change in the first year and it has been fun to watch as Grayson grows.  Our big boy weighs in at 18lbs 14oz and is 27 inches long putting him 75% for both weight and height.  He is such a smiley happy baby.  He really is so mellow and content.  The only time he really fusses is when he is hungry or tired.  His personality is much like his big brother’s, and he loves to be out and about.  He is very social and loves to “talk” to everyone we meet.   We have just started him on cereal and veggies, so far he is not a fan.  Grayson loves to play on the floor and roll and scoot all over.   He has just started tucking his knees up under his little body and lunging forward…he is soon to be a boy on the move!  He is such a good sleeper! He usually has a bottle between 8 or 9pm and then will sleep until 4 or 5am!  And he is in his own crib!!! That’s progress for us since we still have a big almost 4 year old in our bed!  Our lives have been so blessed by this little guy!  I love to watch as Liam and Grayson play together.  They love each other so much!

*warning….here are way too many pics!*

My Brave Knight and a Little One with the Heart of a Dragon!

For the last couple of years I have wanted to do a mini photo shoot of Liam in his Halloween costume, this year since we have 2 cute boys, we made it a priority to get out and snap a few pics.  We have been having beautiful weather and even though it was sunset, it was still mid 80’s.  Grayson’s costume is really warm, so between being hot and hungry (since it was near dinner time) our normally happy guy was a little put out.  But we still managed to grab some adorable photos of my favorite boys.

My Brave Knight!

We had to have a talk about the sword…I told him that he was NOT a dragon slaying knight but rather a knight like the ones in “How to Train your Dragon.”

This Knight and Dragon are best buds!

Daddy to the rescue!  He pulled the boys and the giant pumpkin all the way up a huge hill!  Thanks Honey!!!

Pumpkin Picking

With just a few days left in October we finally had a chance to go to the pumpkin patch.  The pumpkin patch near our home has a ton of things for the kids to do…rides, games, petting zoo, pony rides, even food booths… but all of that takes extra $$$.  Who knew that  a gourd cost so much money?  Add all the other fun stuff and you could easily drop a bundle!  As we did last year, we wondered around, watched all the bigger kids as they played games,  and pet the animals through the fence.  The nice ladies that ran the pony ride even let Liam pet the ponies, so he didn’t really know the difference.  This was Grayson’s first year at the pumpkin patch, he was more interested in eating and was not thrilled about sitting in the hay.  Such cutie boys!

Liam gets to choose his own pumpkin each year, this year he chose…a mini pumpkin.

I think he just thought they were so cute that he didn’t want a bigger one.

Here he his showing Grayson the wonders of the mini!
