Blue or Green?

I got a phone call from my Mom today requesting that we post some new pictures of Liam.  Apparently, she is tired of looking at Liam and his harem.   Liam was wearing a cute little outfit today, but when my Mom called it was already dark outside so I had to take pictures in the house.  I’m pretty clueless about shooting pictures with a flash, so these are not that great but he’s such a cutie that I think it makes up for my lack of skill!  I’m beginning to think that his little blue eyes might be turning green.  They’re not looking quite as blue as they did when he was small.  So what do you think, will they stay blue or switch to green?

  Love that little profile.

He decided to prove his independence and climb off the bed.  Here he was standing on the bed rail, showing off what a big boy he is.  Oh, by the way, his newest skill…..he can now open doors!  What a handful!  Frank had to install a chain lock on the front door.

Liam and Daddy’s Day Out

Today, Liam and I went to The Fit Expo at the LA Convention Center.

We got to check out lots of booths, talk to many many fitness experts and try new stuff (protein powder, supplement samples and workout gear.)

Liam was a hit with the ladies.

All the colors of the rainbow…

At Christmas I bought these for Liam….

Now all I really wanted was Large Crayons, but since I went shopping soooo late the Crayola isle was pretty shot and all that was left was Large Washable Crayons.  Sounded fine to me, so Santa bought them.  Fast forward to a rainy day in January.  I put the little monster boy in his highchair with his crayons so I could do some dishes.  This is what happens to washable crayons when exposed to a one year old saliva….

This is what happens when you take the messy crayons away….

And then here’s what happens when you bribe the babe with teddy grahams…

Newport Beach

Today we took a trip to Newport Beach to enjoy some time in the sand.  Both Liam and Frank ended up with wet shoes and socks…and Finn had wet paws…but we had a wonderful time.  It is always good for me to be at the beach for awhile.

Liam thought the sand was really neat.

We might have ignored the sign that said “No Dogs between 9am and 5pm”

Finn wanted his day at the beach too!

Here is where the wet shoes and socks occurred.

This picture just cracks me up.  I was trying to pull Liam away from the water but it looks more like I’m twirling him.  Who knew he had such moves!?!

Picture Overload

This is your official warning: this post contains massive amounts of pictures.  Frank’s computer is back so I’m doing my December photo update.  Hope you enjoy….I know we did.  December was a fun month full of so many family activities.

We celebrated Grandma Ruth’s birthday by taking a family trip to Disneyland.  Liam was fascinated by the fireworks.  He stayed up until about 11pm and then finally crashed out in the stroller.  He is such a little party animal!

Next we headed up to my parent’s home to celebrate an early Christmas.  Liam loves to wear everyone else’s shoes.  And Auntie Marcy loved to put Liam in Auntie Darshan’s pretty golden slippers!  Such a silly boy.IMG_8245 IMG_8282 IMG_8308

Liam had fun being pulled around in the basket on our NorCal Christmas morning.

Liam still likes his baths…he is a streaker!

We had time to visit Pinto Lake to feed the ducks, geese, magpies and rude, pushy seagulls.  The seagulls would swoop in and steal the bread right out of the air.IMG_8507

You may not be able to tell but it was freezing!  This is pretty little Haley.  She is like a big sister to Liam.  Those two sure love to play together.  She carried him all over!

We left the chilly weather of the central coast to come home for Christmas.  We were all super spoiled!IMG_8560 IMG_8578
