Bath Time...this one's for Aunt Marcy

Bath time is a favorite time of day for Liam. He would sit in the bath until the water was cold and his little lips quivered if we let him.
He still has such tiny feet....it makes me want to nibble those little toes......

....this is his favorite starfish toy, it's the first one he goes for....

wild 'n' crazy hair

So what do you do when you see a cute baby in the mirror....you lean in close and flash the baby an adorable smile....

....then you lean in closer.......

....and give that cute baby a big kiss......

.....check to see if the baby is still interested....."how you doing?"......

....and give that handsome baby another kiss.....
This is sure to be blackmail material in a few years! Trust me, I've got more too! What a sweet, fun, silly boy!

Photo Fun

Last weekend Frank took me to Santa Ana to rent a camera lens that I've had my eye on. I'd love to buy the lens but it is waaayyy too expensive. It sure was fun to play with for the weekend though!

7 months

It's hard to believe that it has been seven months since our sweet Liam was born. I think back to how little he was, how unsure I was and how our lives changed forever. I have never before experienced such joy. I remember just looking Frank in the eyes and crying. How could this beautiful, amazing baby be ours? At times it still feels unreal. He is such a precious, sweet, lovable boy. He has started giving kisses....really wet kisses. He crawls all over and just this last week has started to pull himself up on things. He has the silliest laugh and the temper of his Mommy. I love the way he lights up when Frank or I walk in the room. He gets so excited he flaps his arms as if he's about to take off. I love to hold him while he sleeps. I love to cuddle with him. My heart is so full, my life so blessed. What a lucky girl I am to have my boys!

Mmmm...Cherrios

Liam continues to grow and change...too fast. He has become quite the connoisseur of finger foods. He LOVES Cheerios and little pieces of bread. Last night we went out to dinner and he had oyster crackers, which he thought were great. Little did I know that he was chewing them but not swallowing them which made for great chipmunk cheeks. There is a limit to how many crackers little cheeks can hold before there is gagging... and more gagging and then....well, you get the idea. Let's just say Mommy had to wipe down the table, the high chair, her right hand and arm and change the kiddo's clothes. Aahhh, the glamorous life! Here's some pics of Liam enjoying an afternoon snack of his favorite Cheerios. Yum.

Love the "Cherrio mole"

I just love this boy.

And here's Finn showing off his need for doggie orthodontics.

A Very Merry Half Birthday...to Liam

***I had Frank upload the pics for me. Here is the entry that goes with Liam's 6 month photos***

Can you believe it?! Six months old! It's hard for me to believe that we have been blessed to have our little guy for six months already. It seems just yesterday that we brought him home. I'm amazed at how much he has changed. I did his 6 month measurements yesterday; weight 17lbs 0.5oz (45%), length 28inches (95%), and head circumference 44.5cm (60%). Liam is a boy on the go and loves to get on his hands and knees and lunge forward. Nothing is safe on the floor...look out Finner. He is still sporting just 2 little teeth although the way he chews on everything I'm suspicious that more are on the way. He loves baby food, especially bananas, applesauce and pears. He flirts with everyone we meet and loves to go out and see the world. He still fights sleep! This boy will go all day without a nap if we are out. And of course he still sleeps best in Mommy's arms, a skill that Daddy thinks we need to work on. But I'm content to snuggle and take naps all day. The last six months have been some of the most challenging but have definitely been the most rewarding of my life. I'm soooo grateful for my little family and all the love we share!!! Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day.
