Welcome to the jungle!

Doesn't that face say it all.....Watch out world, here I come! Somehow this last month has slipped by and I haven't had a chance to blog all of Liam's adventures. He is a wild man. He crawls super fast, cruises along furniture, and is very close to pulling himself out of his pack-n-play. Liam has had his share of illnesses this last month, a double ear infection, impetigo and then some sort of gastroenteritis (that was not fun...taking apart and washing his car seat and stroller was certainly not fun!) We had a chance to visit my parents and the cool weather of the central coast. It was wonderful to get away form the SoCal heat for a few days. Liam has added to his collection of teeth! He now has two on the top as well has his bottom two. He has a few more that will be in soon. I'm not ready to see that gummy smile go yet... Liam is eating everything. We don't even bother with baby food anymore, he just eats whatever we have just cut into teenie-tiny pieces. He is still a slim little guy weighing in at 18lbs 15oz (25%) and is already 30 inches (95%). He is so much fun! We love him so much!

Sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's bed.

Hamming it up in the highchair.

Peeking out of the pack-n-play.
That is the "tall" end that I've caught him trying to climb over. Scary!

Playing in the backyard.

That look just says T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Family Photos

We were lucky enough to have our amazingly talented friend, Tonya, take some family pictures for us a couple weekends ago. My parents happened to be visiting the same weekend so they were able to help wrangle the kid and dog! What an amazing job Tonya did!!! Here's the link to her site. http://www.tonyajoy.com/myjoy

Swimming!

Since the weather has so HOT around here we decided to make a Target run and buy a little pool. This was the first time that Liam got to swim in anything besides the bathtub. He loved it!
I love these little swim trunks! I bought them before Liam was even born!
Oo la la.....look at that beach bod.

Splish splash

Nothing better than playing with fishies

What a ham!!!

Such a happy boy!

He figured out that he could lean out and pick grass.....yummy!

Bath Time...this one's for Aunt Marcy

Bath time is a favorite time of day for Liam. He would sit in the bath until the water was cold and his little lips quivered if we let him.
He still has such tiny feet....it makes me want to nibble those little toes......

....this is his favorite starfish toy, it's the first one he goes for....

wild 'n' crazy hair

So what do you do when you see a cute baby in the mirror....you lean in close and flash the baby an adorable smile....

....then you lean in closer.......

....and give that cute baby a big kiss......

.....check to see if the baby is still interested....."how you doing?"......

....and give that handsome baby another kiss.....
This is sure to be blackmail material in a few years! Trust me, I've got more too! What a sweet, fun, silly boy!

Photo Fun

Last weekend Frank took me to Santa Ana to rent a camera lens that I've had my eye on. I'd love to buy the lens but it is waaayyy too expensive. It sure was fun to play with for the weekend though!

7 months

It's hard to believe that it has been seven months since our sweet Liam was born. I think back to how little he was, how unsure I was and how our lives changed forever. I have never before experienced such joy. I remember just looking Frank in the eyes and crying. How could this beautiful, amazing baby be ours? At times it still feels unreal. He is such a precious, sweet, lovable boy. He has started giving kisses....really wet kisses. He crawls all over and just this last week has started to pull himself up on things. He has the silliest laugh and the temper of his Mommy. I love the way he lights up when Frank or I walk in the room. He gets so excited he flaps his arms as if he's about to take off. I love to hold him while he sleeps. I love to cuddle with him. My heart is so full, my life so blessed. What a lucky girl I am to have my boys!

Mmmm...Cherrios

Liam continues to grow and change...too fast. He has become quite the connoisseur of finger foods. He LOVES Cheerios and little pieces of bread. Last night we went out to dinner and he had oyster crackers, which he thought were great. Little did I know that he was chewing them but not swallowing them which made for great chipmunk cheeks. There is a limit to how many crackers little cheeks can hold before there is gagging... and more gagging and then....well, you get the idea. Let's just say Mommy had to wipe down the table, the high chair, her right hand and arm and change the kiddo's clothes. Aahhh, the glamorous life! Here's some pics of Liam enjoying an afternoon snack of his favorite Cheerios. Yum.

Love the "Cherrio mole"
