Just a few cute pictures of our cuties hamming it up in the tub. I know that one day soon Liam is going to start protesting any picture taking that happens in the tub so I’m getting it done now!

Spring Showers
Since this baby is my second, and also a boy, I was sort of hoping to get out of having any sort of baby shower. I am not the kind of person who likes being the center of attention. Ha ha ha! I had 3! That’s right, THREE! It is amazing to have such wonderful family and friends who are willing to take time out of their busy schedules to celebrate our upcoming bundle of joy. My first baby shower was thrown by my work friends. Kira, my good friend, organized everything. It was fun to see everyone, since I have been on disability for so long. I am lucky to work with a group of great ladies!
The amazing diaper cake!
The girls
Everyone was so nice and generous! We scored a TON of diapers, cute clothes and baby supplies. And many of the girls who couldn’t make it to the party gave money. We were able to buy a double stroller! What great friends!
Shower number 2 took place at my sweet Mother-in-law’s house. It was fun to catch up with friends and extended family. Since my family was coming to visit we had the shower the same weekend. Again, I felt very spoiled and blessed!
Love this little onesie!
My Mom made an adorable blanket for the baby! It is certain to be a cherished lovey!
It sure brought tears to my eyes! Hormones, sheesh!
Yummy Cake!
Shower number 3 was thrown by my friend Kim, from church. She and her sweet daughter Drei went to so much trouble! The food table was amazing! Cupcakes, rice crispy bars, cookies, all sorts of crackers, chips and pretzels, fruit trays….wow! The church girls all came and shared a nice relaxed evening chatting. I was brain dead and completely forgot to get my camera out of my purse. I feel so much love and support from all my family and friends! Can’t wait to have this little guy and show him off!

Race time
We decided to take the little boys to see qualifying for the Sprint Cup drivers. It gave them a chance to see the racecars but was not crowded and was cheap for the grownups. All the big boys (and Darshan!) went to see the main event race on Sunday. Since I was 36 weeks pregnant I was glad to let the big guys have all the fun and chill out with the boys, my Mom and Sis. It is always fun to see the cars. They are so impressive! I need one for my commute to work!

Cool bug eyes!
Wearing his new Jimmie Johnson t-shirt (and some dirt)!
The Family
By the end of the day Liam was COVERED in dirt! Just a sign of a good time!

Fun in the Sprinklers
While everyone was visiting we took a break from the race activities and had some fun in the sprinklers. Those boys LOVE water. By the end both kid were shivering but didn’t want to get out! We even got Uncle Kyle to run through!
Liam “helped” Spencer into the center of the ring. Spencer thought the sprinklers were fun from the outside but was not too sure about being surrounded by them!
Yay! Uncle Kyle!
Getting drinks
Just too cute!
*Thanks Dad for the pics!*

NASCAR Invasion
March marks the return of NASCAR to our area. This year we were excited to share the fun with my whole family. We had so much fun hanging out and getting to go to the all the race events. To kick off race week they have a hauler parade. We had a good time last year and had just as much fun this year. Since we had been before we knew to bring ear protection for the boys since the truck horns are REALLY loud.
Spencer and Marcy waiting for the trucks.

See the guy talking to Frank? He’s a photographer for the local paper.
Liam made the newspaper again this year!
So excited!
Thanks Dad for the pic of my favorite driver!

Hockey
At the end of February we took Liam to his first hockey game. I had seen the advertisements for the Ontario Reign, the minor league team that plays near our home, and thought it looked like fun. After checking into it, we found out that the cheap seats were only $10. The perfect price when taking a 3 year old! I was a little worried that Liam would get bored and fidgety but he did great. He loved to cheer on the team. The Reign won 5-1 and we even got to see a fight! Ah, hockey!
We walked in and Liam saw the girls! Every boy needs pictures with cheerleaders!

The 3 hour tour…
My parents have spunky little cockatiel named Gilligan. Liam loves him! Gilligan is not so keen on the idea of kids and dogs and all the commotion that goes on when we visit. While we were there last time Liam got to watch as Gilligan got his toenails and wings trimmed and then he got to hold him! That boy loves animals!!! He was in heaven! Gilligan was a good boy and put up with a little one, he really is all bark and no bite or in the bird world….all screech and no peck!
The meet and greet!
Liam was so excited to be able to hold Gilly! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
