Brokenhearted

It pains me to have to write this post, but I wanted to update all those friends and loved ones who we may not have been able to contact yet. Last night we received shocking news that Lisa, Frank's younger sister had died. As of now, we know very little and are awaiting the autopsy/coroner's report to help answer the many questions that we have. Lisa lived in Oceanside (near San Diego) with her brother Michael and had just celebrated her 35th birthday last month. We are all in shock at this point but everyone seems to be holding up pretty well. The initial planning and practicalities that need to be handled after a death are taking up much of the time. It is still so unbelievable, so unreal. It feels as if she is still down south and we will get to see her next weekend. My heart breaks when I think that Liam will only know his Auntie Lisa through pictures....she loved him SO much and was such a doting aunt. The Gospel offers the peace that we will see each other again. This is not the end, but rather a very unwelcomed intermission. To all those who have offered help and prayers during this difficult time we can not begin to express our gratitude.

Our dear Lisa, you will be forever in our hearts.

I don't even have adequate words. I am grateful that every one of her struggles is over. I am grateful to believe that Heavenly Father's plan for her is in place. As much as we hurt we can be assured that she is where she needs to be right now, and that she is with many, many people who love her and have missed her for a long time. You can be sure that you and your family are not alone in your sadness as well as in your love for her. I miss her so much already. Love and prayers to you and sweet Liam. She can watch over him even better now.

Dear Ellett Family,

We too are grieving the loss of your dear Lisa. We also know that there are many on the other side of the veil who are rejoicing now to have her back with them. She will forever be in our hearts and on our minds.

Please keep each other close, love each other always, and make the most of everyday. We know that Lisa loves you all so much and will be watching over all of you. She will be cheering you on as you continue through this journey until you are reunited once again.

Take care, you are in our prayers, we love you!

My heart breaks for you guys. We are so lucky to understand the plan of salvation, but unfortunately it doesn't make the hurt go away. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. I wish I was closer so I could give you both hugs, and kiss that sweet little Liam. Love you guys!

Ellett Family,

What a loss. I can hardly fathom the sadness your family must be going through. You are in our prayers - I remember Lisa from the Cypress Institute. Always smiling, and laughing and genuinely caring for others. She will be missed deeply. May you feel Him comfort and lift you during this difficult time.

Beautiful Post, I just got your blog address from Momma Ruth. Lisa always looked up to you and loved that you came to be in the Ellett Family and especially gave her Liam to dote on.:) We will all love and remember Lisa 'till we meet again.
