Visiting with Grandma and Grandpa (Part 1)

Our third set of family visits was from my parents, aka Grandma and Grandpa Thorne.  I love my parents so much.  At times it is so hard to be 6 hours away from them, especially when Liam is growing and changing so much!   Our visits are always fun and always much too short.  There is never enough time to get everything done.  Since my Dad and I are both a bit of photography nerds we took many, many, many pictures during their visit, hence the Part 1 and Part 2 posts.  One of the first things we did was go to visit The Mission Inn in Riverside.  The architecture is beautiful and on Saturdays there is a fun little farmer’s market.  We have been there with every family visit….it has rained on us every time!  I am excited to go back with my “big camera” and take some more pictures of Liam.

Look at those beautiful doors!  This is outside of one of the wedding chapels at the hotel.  And there’s Frank enjoying the damp weather!

We sat Liam on this little niche that was right outside of those beautiful doors.  It was funny, if maybe a little sacreligious.  Don’t sit to close to our family, we may be struck by lightening!  The “seat” Liam is sitting on is about five feet off the ground….I almost wet myself….but I got the shot!

  Happy Grandpa!

P2260037 I had to include this picture.  This tile is above the doors on the wedding chapel.  The first time I saw it I thought it said “Hast thou made the mall”  That is proof to Frank that shopping is a divine act!

We had such a fun day, rain and all. Liam is growing so fast and he is so fun to be around. We love you all so much. I can't wait for our next visit, maybe we can do something divine and go to the mall.

So fun to see all your pictures. What a cutie. You do such a great job on all your photos. Loved the Valentine ones. Smitten I guess!
