A week or so ago my sweet husband took me to the camera store to rent a lens that I have been drooling over. It was so fun! I’m not sure that renting it was a good idea….I’ve been lusting over it ever since! After picking up the lens we made a quick trip to the Newport Temple to enjoy the beautiful grounds. The flowers were spectacular, the evening light was amazing and cute little Liam was a challenging almost 2 year old! That boy refuses to look at the camera….good thing my camera bag is always stocked with some sort of candy. I bribe. I admit it. I’ve bribed many kids to get them to look at my camera! It was a great evening. I nearly cried when I had to take the pretty lens back on Monday morning. I’ll cross my fingers… and toes… and eyes, and hope that Santa will buy it for me for Christmas!
Like that scratch on Liam’s cheek? I was tempted to edit it out. But, that sweet, little face so often has bumps and bruises it’s just part of who he is.

Liam still loves water. I stood there taking pictures certain that the kiddo was going to end up IN the fountain.
Here he was telling me all about the water. He is talking so much and learns new words everyday.

The pictures are beautiful. You're little Liam is growing up wwwaaaayyy to fast and we don't get to see him often enough. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you as well. Come on Santa...don't disappoint!
How fun! I just got a new camera, and I am in love with it! What do you shoot with, and what lense did you rent? It sure gave some great pictures! Of course, most credit goes to the person behind the lense. Although a great lense helps too! So fun! I hope Santa is good to you this year!
That little Liam is not so little anymore! What happened? By the way, I love the scratch on his face. Gentry is always covered in those and I don't edit them out either. Its who she is right now. Welcome to two (almost). It's a great age. It's hard but not terrible by anymeans!
They grow up so fast and the bruises and scratches just keep coming!! Isn't it great to be a mom to a sweet boy!? You are so talented and your pictures are so cute! Hope you're doing well!
