Nascar has invaded our area! We are so excited!!! This evening they had a truck hauler parade. Now, we’ve all seen semi haulers…not that special. But, Nascar haulers are painted up fancy like the racecars they carry. They are beautiful! So shiny and vibrant. The weather has been stormy but we braved it and headed out to the Bass Pro to watch as they paraded past. It was so much fun. Liam was so excited to see all the big trucks. And even more excited to hear them honk! I never knew there was such a variety of truck horns…some quite deafening! Since Liam was in his Jimmy Johnson fire suit and we were standing right on the curb, several truck drivers and passengers saw him, pointed and wave directly to him. He was in heaven!

As current Nascar {5 time!!!} champion Jimmy Johnson’s hauler was first. We sure did cheer for him! He’s our…..or at least my….favorite! Not to mention one of the cutest!
Not sure who’s hauler this is but all the chrome was impressive.

We ended the night by going into the Bass Pro Shop. They sponsor Jamie McMurray so they had a demo car. It was fun to see it up close.
As we drove home, Liam kept saying, “Let’s go racing! Tomorrow we go racing!” They are doing time trials tomorrow, weather permitting. I’m tempted to head out to the track….with ear muffs for Liam!

That looks like so much fun! He's so dang cute...just like his favorite driver. Next year we'll be there for the fun! Jay thinks you should put Liam in his Jimmie fire suit and we should put Spencer in a Juan Pablo one...what do you think? Sound like a plan? Wish we were there. :)
